WHY IS THIS URGENT?

In Nithari, a village near Noida, 392 eager children are attending our school to continue their education.

Our dedicated team of trained teachers are working tirelessly to erase the learning gaps, ensuring these young minds have a fair shot at success. These children also receive two nutritious meals, guaranteeing that hunger never stands in the way of their dreams.

We are in need of funds urgently to continue running our Nithari Education Centre. Your generosity can keep the school's doors open.

Since 1977, JWP has championed the cause of women and children in India. Our mission is simple:

Ensure access to education and protection for children
Strengthen grassroots women organisations & community building
Create a society of where women and men are equal

ABOUT US

Joint Women's Programme (JWP) embarked on its mission nearly five decades ago, aiming to help establish a society that offers equal opportunities to all, regardless of their gender, caste, or economic background.

Over the past 47 years, our on-ground efforts have significantly influenced crucial policies aimed at building a more equitable society. We were honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Hon'ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind.

JWP has been instrumental in shaping important legislations such as the Devadasi Prohibition of Dedication Act, 1984, the Domestic Violence Act of 2005, and the Child Marriage Bill of 2006, along with numerous initiatives dedicated to safeguarding the rights of women and children throughout India.
